If you're here looking for some good writing, close the tab right now. This is a blog that started off as a writing solace and instead turned into a place to rant off about anything and everything. So, this is going to be an awful lot of just penning down my thoughts, and then deciphering the confusion in emotions, with a not-so-gloomy outlook, or an ambivalent ending, if not a total-downer one.
Peace out. You've been warned.

Motivating yourself

This was something I read on Paulo Coelho's blog. It changed my perspective and the way I was looking at things.

To the warriors of light, there is no such thing as impossible love.
They don’t allow themselves to be intimidated by silence, or by rejection.
They know that – behind the icy mask people wear – there is a heart of fire.
That is why the warriors risk more than others.
They tirelessly seek love – even if this means hearing, many times over, the word ‘no’, returning home defeated, feeling rejected in body and soul.
Warriors don’t allow themselves to be discouraged. Without love, living has no meaning.

Hasta la Vista Exams

Hey everyone.

Finally holidays are here. My AS exams have finished and the creativity and inspiration [Thank God] are at it's peak right now. But, yeah there's always a 'but' to damper things right? I know. Anyways,  I have been trying to find ways to bust my boredom. I know I'm probably the only person who got bored the day her exams ended. But what can I say, I can't help it. So I've decided to finally catch up on all the Supernatural, LOST, Heroes, Castle and White Collar seasons. haha yeah, I've also decided to increase my reading summer list. This time, I want to experiment with new genres and writers. What do you guys think?

Answers from the world.

How can you make yourself feel better, when you're feeling low to the extremes? How can you control your rage when you want to take it out at the world? What can you do when frustration and anger and the darkest emotions known to the human race strike at you and ensnare you in their jaws? What can you do when the worst battle your fighting, is the one with your own mind? When even your subconsciousness decides to ignore you. When it's feels like your falling in a seamless pit and when the world constricts you binding you, as it's victim, so that it can hunt you down, in it's own merciless way? What can you do to escape the insanity that rumbles on the edge of the plate? The twirling madness that has no escape? The deafening din that roars infinitely? The paradoxical tricks your mind plays? The utopia that shatters? The nightmare that never ends? The plunge in the icy waters of abyss-land that slowly, desiccate you, turning you into a lifeless body that breathes, yet does not live, that eats yet takes no pleasure in it, that has forsaken everything mundane enough to be called human?
HOW CAN YOU ESCAPE IT ALL?

Humans really have no idea, how much their words can mean to others. Nor how much their words can affect them. That is why I believe the humans are one of the most vile and nasty creatures to walk this Earth. For they give solace then turn away leaving others in despair. They comfort yet they themselves become the cause of others' grieves. They scare the darkness away, yet they carry darkness with them. They are paradoxical creatures really. You never know what to expect from them and most importantly, you never know whether or not you can trust them. Solely driven by instinct and moods, these creatures, are unexpected to the core. You could find you know all about them, yet a life time later, they may still surprise you with their uncanny skills. You may think of them as strong, yet in the most unexpected times, the strongest of them may fall weak and give in to tears.

I'm puzzled by the human mind,
for in it, peace, I cannot find,
Though I have jewels on my crown,
yet, take not off that frightful frown,
that haunts my nights,
and turns off lights,
uncannily though it, prolongs the sight.

The human mind keeps me intact,
yet it is the reason that, I, in fact,
am called insignificantly insane,
for trying to battle death's lane,
by myself, and trying to plunge in the plane,
where it's horrors, strike at best
and lay to silence all the rest.

Oh fallen one !

Stand up, oh fallen one.
You'll have strength to bear,
The pain of effort,
Because, life’s not always fair,
Inspiration, yes inspiration,
Comes but with a price,
You must adhere with,
It, and look past all the lies,
But, remember, oh fallen one,
You once stood a long,
With every piece inside you,
Intact, when you were very strong,
Find that man in you, again,
We’ll beseech every side,
And peace will be restored with,
Amended, now that pride,
Come with me, oh fallen one,
The journey won’t be brisk,
But once the lingering illness fades,
The path won’t be a risk,
We’ll journey, past it all,
And you’ll overcome the fall,
For so will end the tale of how,
we conquered at last,
For so will the end the tale of how,
We overcame the past.

A monster you created

I have lost every ounce of confidence I had,
And this truth now hurts real bad.
I have been stripped bare of my pride,
And for avenging this, inside me a fire ignites.
I have been hurt to the core,
My existence and self esteem forcefully explored,
And have evaporated in thin air,
Life is just unbearably unfair.
Every little victory I achieved,
Is now believed, to have never conceived.
Every raw form of good I was,
has impeccably disappeared in midair because,
I have been assaulted,
I have been trifled with,
And this has led to my destruction.
Enjoy! For this was your personal instruction.
I want to cry badly, but the tears don’t come out.
I want to screech madly, but I’m unable to shout.
The biggest pain has been to my broken pride,
And there seems no one to be by my side.
My utopia has now been destroyed, along with my soul.
My dreams have been crushed, at the worst possible toll.
I can only despair now, but a fire is burning already in my eyes.
I will fight past every trap and entrap you in my own lies.
Fight me? Try your best, but I’m a monster you created.
I will penetrate past your weaknesses for I am a hybrid of all you ever hated.

Hey everyone, I know I've been dormant lately, but it was only because I had exams. Don't worry I haven't given up on writing, hopefully I never will. Anyway, these are three of my poems that are published in a book called "Poetic Voices Healing the World". It is a collaboration by poets from all around the world, all profits will be donated to charities. It is available on Amazon and very soon on Barnes & Nobles as well.

War

Unwavering loyalty,
unquestionable pride.
oaths are sworn,
as forces collide.

With passionate hearts,
and swords in our hands.
We march to freedom,
to free our lands.

We are not certain
if we will succeed,
nevertheless
we still proceed.

With naught but freedom
in our minds,
we know not when
our paths will rewind.

To home sweet home,
where we were content,
but too long have we remained
back home to pretend,
that all else is fine.

But we are a nation,
we have been aroused,
and we will fight
till we see our shrouds.

We march to freedom,
to free our lands,
with passionate hearts
and swords in our hands.

Apocalypse

Apocalypse, I’m crying
On the inside I’m slowly dying.
Unfulfilled promises,
Twisting lies…
Unforgiving words…
Ostentatious goodbyes…
I’m just so sick of it all
I’m trapped inside an unbreakable wall
Life has nothing more to give,
Sometimes it’s just too hard
To live…

Sometimes, there’s no one else to blame,
Feels like I’m stuck in an intricate frame.
But I matter to no one, it’s always the same.
I feel like a pawn in a brazen game.

My words don’t matter, for nothing will change.
I’m trapped, and there’s no one within my range.

Hard as I try, my best to reach out
No one will listen to my hostile shout
No one listens, no one cares,
No one tries, no one dares…

All my attempts to succeed have failed
My victory was short lived,
my magnum opus was assailed.

My visions were vivid, but they were dispersed
Because my independence was destroyed,
My liberty first…
I wait and wait and try to wait more
And I can’t help but hate this accursed lore
Soon enough even the strongest, will perish in vain,
those who torment today, will eventually suffer in pain.

Dictate as you like today,
For tomorrow, you’ll get your bane…

A new breeze

A new breeze bringing a wave of hope,
No restrain, no binding rope.
A new cloud with a silver lining,
the path is clear, the road is shining.
The sun is up, the dusk is dew,
the night is gone but up are few,
The storm is gone, my hopes are high,
for now, before me, apparently lies,
my future, reflecting crystals clear,
with no sorrows, no reaping fear.
No shadows now lie in the dark,
But beautiful birds and singing larks.
I feel grace and I feel life,
No more tears, and no more fears,
optimism is spreading it's in the air,
and so it will be
till I get resurrection's fare.

I keep looking

I keep looking

I keep looking

I look through the glass everyday,
through the broken shards...
I look as the day eventually fades
and nightfall cascades,
I look as the birds circle and fly away
I keep looking.

I look through the glass everyday,
till those who care have no more to say.
I look as winter envelopes the roads,
as summer bades goodbye,
and dark turns the sky,
I keep looking.

I look through the glass everyday,
as those who arrive, return in dismay.
I look as the leaves fall,
as trees shed their tears,
I look as dear autumn is finally here,
I keep looking.

I look through the glass everyday,
as the nightfall creatures come out to play
I look as they come out of habitats,
I look as they wiggle and dance in the rays.
I look as the heat finally arrives,
as summer returns, I keep looking
I keep looking.

A Mother's Love- Inspirational Story

This is a very inspirational story that I read on www.mind-press.blogspot.com , do read it.

A little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was fixing supper, and handed her a piece of paper that he had been writing on. After his Mom dried her hands on an apron, she read it, and this is what it said:
For cutting the grass: $5.00
For cleaning up my room this week: $1.00
For going to the store for you: $.50
Baby-sitting my kid brother while you went shopping: $.25
Taking out the garbage: $1.00
For getting a good report card: $5.00
For cleaning up and raking the yard: $2.00
Total owed: $14.75
Well, his mother looked at him standing there, and the boy could see the memories flashing through her mind. She picked up the pen, turned over the paper he’d written on, and this is what she wrote:
For the nine months I carried you while you were growing inside me:
No Charge
For all the nights that I’ve sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you:
No Charge
For all the trying times, and all the tears that you’ve caused through the years:
No Charge
For all the nights that were filled with dread, and for the worries I knew were ahead:
No Charge
For the toys, food, clothes, and even wiping your nose:
No Charge
Son, when you add it up, the cost of my love is:
No Charge.
When the boy finished reading what his mother had written, there were big tears in his eyes, and he looked straight at his mother and said, “Mom, I sure do love you.” And then he took the pen and in great big letters he wrote: “PAID IN FULL”.
Lessons:
You will never how much your parents worth till you become a parent
Be a giver not an asker, especially with your parents. there is a lot to give, besides money.
Advice: If your mom is alive and close to you, give her a big kiss and ask her for forgiveness. If she is far away, call her. if she passed away, pray for her.
